Dit is een originele Duitse Wehrmacht Heeresverpflegungssack (legerbevoorradingszak) uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Deze zakken werden gebruikt voor het transport en de opslag van bulkvoedsel zoals graan en meel, maar ook voor rantsoenen en veldpost voor het Duitse leger. De markering "H. Vpfl." op de zak staat voor Heeresverpflegung. Het toont de nationaal-socialistische adelaar (Reichsadler) met hakenkruis, die na de Weimar-periode de Reichswehr-adelaar verving.
