I purchased a new, unused UGG product on Mercari, but it turned out to be a fake.
I tried it on once and immediately realized it was a fake. I've been wearing authentic ones for two years.
The texture is completely different.
However, if it's your first time buying one, you might think that's just how they are.
That it's just a cheap rubber sandal, despite its popularity.

I was replacing my old, authentic UGGs, so I used Mercari this time. I never imagined that there would be so many fake versions of these popular health sandals.

The seller insisted it was genuine because it had tags, and claimed they bought it from a reliable source on PayPay Flea Market (though this wasn't mentioned on the listing). They asked me to provide proof that it was a fake.
Dealing with the administration was very troublesome, and I decided the time commitment was too great, so I gave up. I was treated like a complainer and received a negative rating.
However, I was certain it was a fake, so I bought an authentic one from the original authorized retailer (Arco) and uploaded images comparing the details.
Some people may be wearing fakes without knowing it. Once you wear an authentic one, you'll know it's a fake. I'm embarrassed to have been deceived, but I will keep this up for a while.
