VTG 1970s Christmas serving dishes handmade slipcast pottery

Have yourself a groovy little Christmas! Pair of handmade mid century slip-cast pottery dishes for serving appetizers or other holiday treats. Cream with olive green and red-orange speckled glaze. Signed by the maker and dated 1979. One owner (family pieces). Larger tree dish is 11.25 inches wide and 13.5 inches tall, the smaller is 6.5 inches wide and 7.5 inches tall.

Heavy, sturdy slip cast molded pottery (NOT bone China). Has more clay texture and heft than porcelain ceramics do. This is a feature, not a flaw! No crazing in the glaze.

Minor flaws: Small chip on the front edge of the little tree dish, and a little of the colored glaze speckles are on the otherwise plain backs of both.
