These are vintage Lightning brand metal zippers, produced by Lightning Fasteners Ltd., a subsidiary of Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI). They are considered collectible items. Left Zipper: A 14" white "Coloured Dress Fastener" with a self-locking mechanism. Right Zipper: An "Open End Zip For Cardigans" with a locking open-end mechanism. Manufacturer: Made in Birmingham, England by Lightning Fasteners Ltd.
