This stoneware vase was produced by Purbeck Pottery in Westbourne, Bournemouth (Dorset, UK) using clay the Purbeck Hills, from which the factory took its name. Approximate dimensions: height 14cm (5.5in), max width 9cm (3.5in). Purbeck Pottery first began producing their own stoneware in 1966, for many years producing a range of tableware and decorative pieces. The factory benefitted from the involvement of designer Robert Jefferson, who was previously a designer for Poole Pottery.
