Beautiful Vintage 17th C. Nurnberg / Norimberga / Nuremberg Cityscape Engraved Copper Art Print. With a finely detailed view of the city and the surroundings circa 16th or 17th Century. With a coat of arms in an ornate setting and soldiers coming and going in tthe foreground. This may be an Italian print as Norimberga is the Italian name for Nurnberg. This is an engraving that is printed on a copper plate, but it is also ommonly called an etching.
The Print is Approx. 6.1' Tall X 10.5" Wide. The Plate is Approx. 6.5" Tall X 11.3" Wide.
Good to Very Good previously owned vintage condition. The beautiful copper color is hard to capture, but the second photo is the closest to the actual color. Some signs of wear or use. There is a light scratch that runs from the right of the nameplate to the left bottom quarter, but is hard to see unless you hold it at the right angle.
