This is a pair of vintage "Komfi-Kut" hot-forged pinking shears, likely made by Champion (Scissors) Ltd in Sheffield, England. With saw-toothed blades that cut a zigzag pattern, which helps prevent fabric edges from fraying. Material: The blades are hot-forged and appear to be nickel-plated carbon steel, known for durability and sharpness. Likely from the 1940s / 60s era. Presented in their original, vintage packaging, which is intact but does show signs of ageing / wear. The scissors themselves are in good overall condition - they have been used and they show signs of use / ageing. See photos as these form part of the description. Approximate measurements Box is 19.5 x 7.5 x 2.5cm Scissors are 19 cm long This is part of a destash from my elderly aunts house. Please check out my other listings. Automatic discount for bundles. Greet for a collector of 1940s / 50s / sewing / crafts / history
