My family received this when they became members, and it seems it's not available in bookstores.

The pink cover is the first edition, and it contains many example sentences useful for writing letters in English.
The second edition seems to focus on the pen pal experiences of members.
The illustrations drawn by members, their unique handwriting, and the writing style give a sense of the era.

Acquired about 40 to 45 years ago.
The pink cover has tears, folds, and stains. There are also fold marks on the book's cover.
The second edition has fold marks due to the cover shifting.
Both have yellowing and stains on the edges.
