Towne Crier Bell
Vintage bell in original box. Bell has minor surface flaws (ex. photo #4/6/7) and box has moderate rips, stains, etc (ex. last photo)
Metal bell with wood handle. It works well, and is plenty loud for its size. The clapper ball hangs below the mouth bottom rim (photo #8) unless it's angled (photo #5).

Made in USA (Cambridge, Mass). According to mycompanies dot fandom dot com: the Alden Spear's Sons Company (since 1851) was purchased by a Boston advertising firm in 1969, and this bell (or a similar one like it) dates to 1972, and it is the latest and only example of a product by the Alden company after '69.
