Beautiful Sterling silver necklace with 11 square cut blue topaz and one diamond accent ornate cross pendent.
The necklace is stamped Italy and 925. The cross is stamped “925 CD CHINA.”
Both the cross and necklace tested positive for sterling silver (18k acid turns the scratched stone milky bright white).
Necklace is 18” long with o-spring ring working.
Cross is 1-7/8” tall by 1-3/8” wide.
One Diamond accent on the bale (metal that holds the pendent) tested positive for diamond.
Blue topaz hardness was rising on the light of the diamond tester. I do not have a presidium tester but a diamond one. I’m not a gemologist but I did do research so I’m not 100% sure it’s blue topaz but it looks to be genuine semi-Precious stone especially with the rise of the light testing the hardness.
