Made from high-fired stoneware, this piece features an architectural, totem-like form with layered volumes, textured surfaces, and subtle green glaze accents. Both sculptural and functional in character, it works beautifully as a statement interior object, or as a vessel with an insert for a (big) candle. The handwritten signature and numbering on the base confirm its origin as unique studio pottery rather than mass production. A powerful example of European studio ceramics from the 1980s, where material, weight, and form take center stage. Good vintage condition, with wear consistent with age.
