Vintage Heat-Activated Denny's Scrooge "Bah Humbug!" Christmas Mug and Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer mug set.
Last couple of photos demonstrates the mug changing ability with hot beverages. Before is dark colored image after is light colored image with Rudolph red nose.
This fun mug, a promotional Christmas item from Denny's restaurant, features a grimacing green Ebenezer Scrooge who actually changes colors--and his holiday spirit--when a hot liquid is poured into the mug. The greeting above Scrooge's cap also changes from "Bah Humbug" to "Happy Holidays." I've timed the transformation, and it takes 30-60 seconds for this to happen.
The mug is in excellent condition, with no chips, scratches, or crazing. Item has not been used. Originally made in 1991.
