This is the official Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) 50p coin issued by The Royal Mint to mark 100 years of the BBC. It features a special reverse design by Henry Gray that represents the BBC’s global reach. Product Features: Finish: Brilliant Uncirculated – a much finer strike than coins found in change. Design: The reverse features a globe and transmitter waves with the motto: "Inform, Educate, Entertain". Portrait: One of the final coins to feature the late Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. Condition: Brand new in its original, sealed Royal Mint presentation folder. Important: This coin was not struck for circulation, so it is only available through these official collector packs.
