This is a custom-made Ralph Lauren vest.
It was a vest from the time of purchase, so I don't know what it originally was...
However, it's one-of-a-kind. There's only one in the world.
I think a regular person overseas cut the sleeves and hem to make it a vest. It's reassuringly and safely roughly sewn. Amazing. LOL
Overseas people tend to cut things up because they're hot, cold, or in the way. I wouldn't think of doing it myself.
Thanks to the rough sewing, it has a certain atmosphere in addition to the faded black.
There's no pony logo, so you're unlikely to be recognized as wearing Ralph Lauren.
