Artistically inclined since her early childhood in the Pacific Northwest, Carolyn Oltman earned her BA in Art Education from Western Washington University.
Working from her home studio, she creates a wide variety of works, using watercolor, acrylic and collage. Her other interest is printmaking, including etchings, embossing, monotypes and silk screening. Travel is a great inspiration for her work.
One of Carolyn's paintings was chosen to represent the Tulip Festival in Skajit Valley in 1996. Her work is exhibited at the Flower and Garden Shows in Seattle, San Francisco and Denver.
