This is a folding fan belonging to Kenji Kobayashi, a 9-dan professional shogi player.

Kenji Kobayashi is a disciple of Susumu Itaya, a 9-dan professional shogi player, who was the teacher of Hachidan Sugimoto, the teacher of Sota Fujii, the six-crown champion.

From the perspective of the master-disciple relationship, he is the senior disciple of Sugimoto Hachidan, and therefore, the uncle of Sota Fujii, the seven-crown champion.
