These lovely gloves were found in an estate sale. They were made in France for Sacks Fifth Avenue. They are very soft and embroidered in the French tambour style called Point de Beauvais. The delicate needlework is hand crafted making these gorgeous gauntlet gloves an amazing example of women's fashion dated from the 1930s-1950s popularized by Dior.
