Genuine Vintage stone hot water bottle or "pig" by Pearsons of Chesterfield

I found this working, Excellent Condition item in my mums attic when clearing out recently. Beautiful original vintage Pearsons of Chesterfield stone hot water bottle, known as a “pig.” Made from durable salt-glazed stoneware and dating to the early 20th century (c. 1920s–30s). This example is in excellent condition and is fully functional as well as decorative. The original screw-top lid is present and the seal is intact and watertight. It has a lovely warm beige glaze with a smooth finish. Clearly stamped on the base “Pearsons of Chesterfield.” Perfect for collectors, rustic or cottage interiors, or as a reusable, eco-friendly alternative to modern rubber hot water bottles. No cracks or damage. Very well cared for. Minor age-related marks only, consistent with a genuine antique. Holds water properly.
