Fluorite with Galena and Quartz from Royal Flush Mine, Hansonburg Mining District, Socorro County, NM.

A nice specimen with two display sides. The top has highly lustrous blue Fluorite cubes up to 0.9 cm associated with Galena crystals with surface alteration to Anglesite. The Galena cubes have corners modified by the octahedron. The lower pocket has scattered Fluorite cubes on Quartz up to 0.6 cm. These cubes have a satin luster and zoning that includes purple edges. Some chipping to the top of the specimen. Purchased this crystal and left it on a shelf for months, so it's technically new, but I'm labeling it as used since I purchased it from a store. Beautiful, especially when light hits it, but know that exposing any crystal to sunlight for too long can cause damage! Be kind to your crystals. Keeping your crystals away from direct sunlight improves their longevity.
