The exquisitely crafted miniature products for railway model enthusiasts perfectly captured the sentiment of the times – a longing for "comfort" and "home." Young people and those young at heart, in their leisurely time, created wonderful landscapes in their workshops with their own hands. This was the ideal FALLER customer image envisioned by the FALLER brothers, Hermann and Edwin. Just behind the station, a lively little town spread out, where old buildings contrasted with functional high-rise buildings. And of course, the mountains were indispensable. There, the beautiful Alps and charming mountain huts spread out, speaking of the vacation dreams held by the "generation of economic recovery." On a 1.5-meter x 2-meter H0 scale layout, the diverse charm of such miniature landscapes could be brought together.
