Amberina Art Glass Optic Vase Ruby Red Twisted Stem Japan 12" Hand Blown 1950's. This piece was interesting to research. The picture matches showed Empoli or Earleah Plantation but the sticker on the bottom says Made in Japan and this vase had a feature that none of the others had - a hand blown heart in the side (see photo). Beautifully hand blown with controlled bubbles. Top is scalloped, body has an optic swirl pattern and the clear stem is twisted. Made of amberina glass and has some orange glow under UV light but wasn't impressive. Stands 12" tall and 3.25" diameter at top. No chips or cracks. One similar item was dated in the 1950's. TTC#2332
