I bought these from a high end interior design store in a small Kent village not that long ago, but have decided they don’t work for me. They are a heavy knotted cotton in a very light ivory colour. They have a reef knot feature along each length. There is a very small area on one of the tie backs which is missing a small area of wrapping. It would be quite easy to replace the missing cotton and actually I bought them without noticing!
